Artist - Sabicas with Joe Beck
Album - Rock Encounter
Genre - Flamenco , fusion
Label - Polydor
Format - Mp3 , 320 kbps.
Size - 97 mb.

Artist: Frank Zappa & The Mothers of Invention
Title Of Album: Grand Wazoo
Year Of Release: 1972
Label: Rykodisc
Genre: Jazz-Rock, Fusion
Format: MP3
Quality: 256 kbps I 44.1 Khz I Joint Stereo
Total Time: 00:37:08
Total Size: 69 mb
Review: by Steve Huey
Like its immediate predecessor, Waka/Jawaka, The Grand Wazoo was a largely instrumental jazz rock album recorded during Frank Zappa’s convalescence from injuries sustained after being pushed off a concert stage. While Zappa contributes some guitar solos and occasional vocals, the focus is more on his skills as a composer and arranger. Most of the five selections supposedly form a musical representation of a story told in the liner notes about two warring musical factions, but the bottom line is that, overall, the compositions here are more memorably melodic and consistently engaging than Waka/Jawaka. The instrumentation is somewhat unique in the Zappa catalog as well, with the band more of a chamber jazz orchestra than a compact rock unit; over 20 musicians and vocalists contribute to the record. While Hot Rats is still the peak of Zappa’s jazz-rock fusion efforts, The Grand Wazoo comes close, and it’s essential for anyone interested in Zappa’s instrumental works.

Artist: Alphonse Mouzon
Title Of Album: The Survivor
Year Of Release: 1992
Label: Tenacious Records
Genre: Jazz, Fusion
Format: MP3
Quality: 192 kbps I 44.1 Khz I Joint Stereo
Total Time: 00:50:46
Total Size: 79 mb
Review: by Jonathan Widran
In light of his extensive and diverse jazz fusion resume (Weather Report, Dizzy, Miles), it would be easy to criticize multi-instrumentalist Alphonse Mouzon’s The Survivor as an unsophisticated turn by an artist who has dug deeper in the past. But why not celebrate the collection for what it is—an intensely joyous, tightly played, melodic, energetic blend of pop jazz colors, one which will continue to expose this master to a new audience. Though he offers some lush keyboard musings, Mouzon functions less as a player here than as producer, drawing magnificent lead performances from the genre’s elite—Lee Ritenour, Richard Elliot, George Howard, Brandon Fields, Kirk Whalum, Ernie Watts, and so on. Russ Freeman’s breezy acoustic guitar is reminiscent of the best Rippingtons work. The only drawback is that a drummer of Mouzon’s magnitude would choose to work with drum machines.

Andreas Oberg – Six String Evolution (2010)
Label: Resonance Records
Genre Jazz fusion
Date de sortie d’origine : 11 mai 2010
Durée totale: 1:03:27
Format Mp3 320 Kbps
Size 42.7-95 7 Mo
In the liner notes to Six String Evolution, Oberg states that the date features songs that fit his style - My opinion, of his style? He burns tastefully with a Bebop-singe over many genres. The material is diverse, featuring archtop, electric fusion and nylon string guitar-work on a variety of jazz and pop tunes. One of the many great things about the CD is that, even with the changes in instrumentation and style, there is a continuity of thought and vibe that make it easy to listen from beginning to end. Sadly, Oberg’s chops make me contemplate using my L-5 for firewood…He’s soooo good!
Andreas Oberg’s “Six String Evolution” CD features a host of fine players including Oberg on electric and acoustic guitars plus vocals on “Papa Gato” (penned by L.A.‘s own Poncho Sanchez). He has Darmon Meader on saxophone and vocals on “Maniac;” Filo Machado, vocals and vocal percussion; Dave Kikoski, Rhodes piano; John Patitucci, acoustic and electric basses; Decebal Badila, electric bass; Lewis Nash, drums; Charlie Bisharat, violins; Enzo Todesco, percussion; Antal Steixner, cajon; Marius Preda, cymbalom; and John Beasley, synthesizer, percussion, vibes.

Artist: Herbie Hancock
Title Of Album: Man Child
Year Of Release: 1975
Label: Columbia
Genre: Jazz Funk
Format: FLAC (Tracks)+CUE, LOG
Quality: Lossless
Total Time: 00:45:00
Total Size: 277 mb
Review by Jim Newsom
Perhaps the funkiest album of Herbie Hancock’s early- to mid-‘70s jazz/funk/fusion era, Man-Child starts off with the unforgettable “Hang Up Your Hang Ups,” and the beat just keeps coming until the album’s end. “Sun Touch” and “Bubbles” are slower, but funky nonetheless. Hancock is the star on his arsenal of keyboards, but guitarist Wah Wah Watson’s presence is what puts a new sheen on this recording, distinguishing it from its predecessors, Head Hunters and Thrust. Others among the all-star cast of soloists and accompanists include Wayne Shorter on soprano sax, Stevie Wonder on chromatic harmonica, and longtime Hancock cohort Bennie Maupin on an arsenal of woodwinds.

Title Of Album: Sound-System

Label: Sony Rec.
Genre: Jazz, Fusion, Electro, Funk
Format: MP3
Quality: 320 kbps I 44.1 Khz I Joint Stereo
Total Time: 00:33:55
Total Size: 100 mb
Review by Richard S. Ginell
In the grand tradition of sequels, Sound-System picks up from where Future Shock left off—if anything, even louder and more bleakly industrial than before (indeed, “Hardrock” is “Rockit” with a heavier rock edge). Yet Hancock’s experiments with techno-pop were leading him in the general direction of Africa, explicitly so with the addition of the Gambian multi-instrumentalist Foday Musa Suso on half of the tracks. “Junku,” written for the 1984 Olympic Games with Suso’s electrified kora in the lead, is the transition track that stands halfway between “Rockit” and Hancock’s mid-‘80s Afro-jazz fusions. Also, “Karabali” features an old cohort, the squealing Wayne Shorter on soprano sax. Despite succumbing a bit to the overwhelming demand for more “Rockits,” Hancock’s electric music still retained its adventurous edge.
